The Chaplaincy
The University Chaplaincy works alongside the other support services in the university and Students’ Union and is open to people of all faiths and none.
Salford Chaplaincy offers you:
- Confidential advice and a ‘safe space’ to talk
- Spiritual help at times of need or if you’d just like to explore
- Friendship and support
- Information on places of worship for all faiths.
Chaplains are appointed to serve all members of the University, students and staff, whatever your convictions or beliefs. You can talk to a Chaplain about anything you like - we don’t just do religion, and all conversations are confidential.
The Chaplaincy is in the Chapman Building and is open from 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. You’ll also find chaplains’ offices in Allerton Building, and Adelphi (3rd floor near the cafeteria).

The Chaplain will talk to you about any matter and can be contacted outside normal university hours
